Fear Releasing Essential Oil
Las Vegas Life Coach, Reiki, Past Life Regression, & HypnotherapyOne of the best oils for fear releasing is Neroli. This citrus tree is a bitter-orange with small fruit and fragrant white orange-blossoms.

Use it with Frankincense and Lavender in an oil blend for the skin, dab it on the solar plexus chakra or other areas where you feel your fears are hiding or bottling up, burn it in an oil burner by itself or in a blend, or smell it straight from the bottle if you are having a panic attack.

It is good for calming the nerves, uplifting the spirit, good for the easily agitated, helps balance unstable emotions and facilitates spiritual healing related to fear release.

Other oils that are beneficial for fear release are Frankincense, Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Basil, Rose Absolute, Melissa, Juniper, Clary Sage, Roman Chamomile, Jasmine and Angelica Root.

The two most powerful recommended by Aromatherapy experts being Neroli and Frankincense.

What Is Fear?

The root of every issue it seems that we help people through is Fear. What exactly is it? Fear is a subconscious defense mechanism; a desire to avoid pain and suffering. The challenge of being an immortal soul in a mortal body is in developing the ability to surpass the mortal primal fight or flight instinct caused by fear to reach the other side where true freedom and action without fear is possible.

When we're born, we come in with two fears, the fear of loud noises, and the fear of falling. So, this sets the stage for life, learning about these fears.

The fear of falling can lead to other fears, such as a fear of heights or even the fear of closed spaces.

One of the joys of being a baby, is discovering the rush when we're tossed in the air, and realizing that we're not going to fall, but land safely in the arms of another.

This is one of the many subconscious things we do naturally as parents or adults to help babies overcome their fears.

If a baby experiences something to validate their fears, like being dropped by the person that was supposed to catch them, or if loud noises accompany some physical or emotional pain, a harder time later in life coping with fears may occur. The fear becomes substantiated and validated. Long after the stimulus is removed, the fear can remain.

This sets the stage for our growth and development and how well we handle our fears. As babies, we accept things as they are, without the grown-up filters that later develop. We don't yet have the tools to release fears, so we're dependant on those around us to show us the ropes and to be there with comfort and guidance.

If we're not shown how to move past a fear, it gets stuck and we develop coping mechanisms to survive. When we're ready, those fears are brought to our attention throughout our life to address. Along the way, we pick up different fear-releasing tools. Each time a fear is brought to our attention, we can scrape off layers with the tools we have, until we acquire enough tools and awareness to work faster through each fear.

The tools of fear releasing can be many things, including cultural mythologies, stories, meditative techniques, hypnosis or just coffee with a friend who is there with the right thing to say at the right time. These tools are many and varied but always include some method or means of bringing the mind, soul and spirit into harmony with the physical body.

Breathing through your fear to the other side is one simple but effective way of fear-release. Avoiding, stuffing or repressing only prolongs the time it takes to release the fear. Letting go and realizing that when you are truly ready to get rid of a certain fear, and that the tools and people to help you will be provided by the Universe, makes the task of working through the fear that much easier when the time comes.

De-mystifying Mysticism

Fear And Psychic Tools

(An excerpt from the upcoming book De-mystifying Mysticism)

Before beginning a discussion of psychic tools and some of the myths and fears that often come attached to them, we should first examine what psychic tools are.

What are psychic tools?

Basically, anything that helps you let go of your logical mind and tap into your intuitive side, allowing a connection to spirit is considered a "psychic tool". These include but are not limited to: Pendulums, Tarot Cards, Runes, Tea Leaves, Ouija Boards, Crystals, Mystical Symbols or even a branch from a tree, basically anything can be a "Psychic Tool".

For reasons that could fill a whole chapter, people have almost always tried to fill other people with fear regarding psychic or intuitive tools. Objects such as these have been said to cause possession or attract negative or dark energies. In reality, people infuse objects and surroundingswith their own energies. Whether or not psychic tools are part of the equation, it is the individual that attracts whatever degree of positive and light or negative and dark to their energy field, consciously or more often, subconsciously. By themselves, intuitive tools are not objects lying in wait for the unsuspecting seeker as a gateway into the darker side, or for that matter the lighter side. Simply stated, without the infusion of purpose and intention, Psychic or Intuitive tools are for the most part, simply just objects.

That being said, intuition can be expanded by a variety of means with or without tools. However, tools are a means to focus, channel and develop your intuition and connection to spirit. Personally, I like to look at them as both training wheels and valuable items to be kept in your psychic or healing toolbox to be taken out as each situation calls for.

Before you begin using psychic tools there are two questions you should ask yourself:

1. What is your motivation?
Is your motivation for self improvement and the empowerment of others or is it all or partially to appear powerful, insightful and mystical to others in order to gain respect and recognition?

2. What is your intent?
Is your intent for the highest good or are you trying to divine information for the purpose of "spying" on someone or for the thrill of a "psychic joyride"?

Let's look at the Law of Attraction for a moment.

The friends that you attract are a mirror to the spirits or energies that you attract

Whether or not you are aware of them, you are attracting unseen spirits, guides, energies and entities to yourself all the time in the same way that you are attracting like-minded, like-energied living breathing people to you all the time. The people that are like you are going to be attracted to you. It can't be helped. We live in parallel and interface with the Spirit World in every moment. It is how and where you choose to operate from that does change what kind of spirits are around you and how much natural protection you have.

If you have good intent, want the highest good for those around you, and are seeking to improve and release negative behaviors, the universe is going to make sure that you have a range of those energies around you, incarnated or not. On the flip side, if you are negative, are constantly trying to divine information from your psychic tools that is of an obtrusive, self-serving (as opposed to self-improving) or of a prying nature, if you are gossipy, suspicious or allow yourself an excess of fear, you can bet that you are sending a signal out to the universe saying that you want MORE of those vibrations, not less. Quite simply, you find what you seek, or, expect to find. In the famous Quantum Physics Wave/Particle duality experiments, when light was tested to see if it behaved like a wave, it behaved like a wave, when light was tested to see if it behaved as a particle, the light behaved as a particle, changing itself to fit the intention of the experiment. The power of your intent is what is really running your reality. As the universe sends you more and more proof and validation of what you are asking for or, what you expect to find, the more you get; positive or negative.

There is one psychic tool that seems to attract controversy more than any of the others mentioned: Ouija boards. Personally, I think it boils down to a simple matter of numbers. It seems like there are a higher percentage of people attracted to the Ouija Board for the "psychic thrill seeking" aspect. Naturally, this tends to invite a kind of lower entity. Just as in the incarnated mortal world, there are as many or more varieties of energy in the spirit world; those that like to gossip, those that like to start rumors, those who are themselves frightened but haven't achieved a capacity to communicate beyond that fear, those that are mischievous and want to start something just for the power trip or those that are positive, expansive, empowering, helpful, joyful and light. Again, you attract energy that matches your INTENT. If you are approaching The Ouija Board or any tool for that matter, with a sneaky, gossipy, prying energy, or one filled with fear, you can bet that that's the kind of energy that will be coming back through. Your spirit guides have your best interest at heart. But they also allow you to make your own decisions. After all, we operate in a free will universe. Don't be surprised if they step out for a cup of coffee and a bagel while you go on your psychic joyride, hoping that you'll snap out of it before getting too intoxicated with sensationalist psychic information. They'll be right back when you get your head and intention focused in a more positive direction. I find that this kind of psychic exploration is kind of like reading The Enquirer; little bits of truth here and there but mostly doctored up photos of things that don't really exist. Sometimes it's "all in the spirit of fun" but sometimes you actually wreck the car. Check your intention. Plain and simply; Intention equals Results.

Remember, it is your intent that counts the most

Your intent applies to how effectively you utilize ALL psychic tools.

Protection and Fear

Just as fear attracts more fear, the more positive you are and the more you seek light; the more natural protection you have. The more you are in a state of fear that you have to protect yourself at every moment, the more you attract a need to be protected. In essence, you are getting what you expect to find, the universe is giving you what you appear to be asking for: a reason to be protected. I am not implying that you throw caution to the wind, I am simply saying that being in a state of fear only serves to cripple yourself further in more fear. Instead of saying, "I have to protect myself from all the scary icky sticky monsters that are coming to get me" try saying, "I am always protected and safe". You will be amazed at how your perception changes and therefore your reality. You will BE protected and safe.

Keep it Light

As souls, we encompass a complex range of energy throughout our lives. As much as we would like to be, we are not always in that perfect, wise, expansive all-knowing, non-judgmental place of light. If we were, we probably wouldn't be here still learning. But please, don't WAIT to be perfect to start your journey. Forgive yourself for not being "perfect" all the time, realize that you are PERFECT for RIGHT NOW, set your intention to operate from a place of love and light and release the fear that stops you from moving forward on your path of self-discovery.

Simply by operating from a place of light you provide yourself a natural non-fear-based state of protection. You attract more and more positive energies to you as well as positive, truth seeking people in your life, who as an added bonus, bring their own crew of unseen pure, light energies with them.

Exercise Your Light

Take a moment and close your eyes.
Imagine a crew of light beings and protective energies surrounding you.
Feel relaxed, safe, and expansive.
Realize that you are greater than you've given yourself credit for in the past.
As you explore different methods of connecting to your truth, be aware that you're not alone.
Even when you don't notice it, you're guides are there for you and with you.
The more you tune in, and let go of the fears, the more connected you become.
