NEW PLACE TO NETWORK! We've moved to Facebook. This makes it easier to stay in touch with people, and to RSVP to events.
We've added meditation stones & we'll be adding oil burners soon.
|Dear Reader, |
Thank you for continuing to be a part of our amazing family. Heather and I love to stay in contact with all of our amazing clients and friends, and this is the best way to make that happen.
It's been awhile since our last issue, and we've been growing and expanding all the while. We now have our new healing room set up and ready to go. It's more spacious and Feng Shui Specialist Approved!
A special thank you to everyone who makes each and every one of our mixers such an amazing experience! This mixer, we did some very interesting exercises to open people up to exchanging energy and healing. Everyone paired off in threes and took turns passing energy to each other, and figuring out where it was and what it felt like. Then each group picked one person to send energy to and where they needed it most. We had a great time, and everyone learned to trust their intuition, and what energy feels like.
We've gotten a new order of stronger, deep meditation stones such as Green Jade (stone of serenity), Prehnite* (stone to heal the healer *AKA the Holy Crap Stone!!! See Below), Lepidolite (stone of transition), Bloodstone (courage in transformation), as well as Essential Oils, oil burners, and more for sale. Check them out next time you come in.
A reminder that our next mixer will be Sunday August 29th 5PM at our place. We'll be doing Chocolate Fondue, Raspberries, and Angel Food Cake.
We hope to inspire and uplift you as we share tips, thoughts and information as well as things we've learned along our own path.
Stones, Oils & Herbs
Stone of Dream Time
I know we've already covered this stone in a previous issue, but I wanted to share my own personal experiences with this stone.
As some of you know, I'm a feeler more than a seer. So I've been working on expanding my visual acuity and being able to remember my dreams.
Since we got our new order of stones, I was looking for something to help in that area. The first stone I picked out logically was Lepidolite. I taped it on my Third Eye when I went to sleep. Not much of a change. A more restful sleep, but nothing amazing.
The next night, I pulled out a pendulum and let my guides choose a stone for me to sleep with. They picked Prehnite. The first night sleeping with Prehnite taped to my Third Eye was amazing! I woke up able to recall what felt like a good half hour of dream time. Over the next week and a half, that has increased even more. It feels like I'm able to recall about an hour to 3 hours of dream time in VIVID TECHNICOLOR!
I know some of you take dream time for granted, but for myself, it's been over 10 years with very little dream recall. It's an amazing thing to reconnect with my visuals.
On top of that, I find myself going to sleep easily without any restlessness once I put the stone on my head. It's the best natural sleep aid I've ever found.
And our daughter Savannah, who has always had trouble getting to sleep, put the stone on her head last night, and within minutes was ready for sleepy time.

Unification of Spirit
There is an interesting group phenomenon that takes place when like-minded individuals meet together in a spiritual nature to worship, learn or practice beliefs. I like to call it the "Unification of Spirit", more commonly referred to as the "Collective Consciousness".
First, let's quickly define Collective Consciousness and Collective Unconscious.
A Brief Description of Collective Consciousness and Collective Unconscious
Collective Consciousness was a term coined by the French sociologist Ιmile Durkheim (1858-1917) to describe the system of shared beliefs and ethics that unite any one group of people. This can also be called the "Hive Mind". This collected thought unites groups of people in a very powerful way as it operates on both conscious and subconscious levels.
Collective Unconscious is a function of the subconscious/unconscious and operates in a more universal capacity. Jung expressed that as a group the unconscious collects and organizes our vast human experiences as part of a grand autonomous psychic living library system.
Jung stated, in his book Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious (p. 43), "My thesis then, is as follows: in addition to our immediate consciousness, which is of a thoroughly personal nature and which we believe to be the only empirical psyche, there exists a second psychic system of a collective, universal, and impersonal nature which is identical in all individuals. This collective unconscious does not develop individually but is inherited. It consists of pre-existent forms, the archetypes, which can only become conscious secondarily and which give definite form to certain psychic contents."
Getting Lost In Unification: Positive & Negative
When a group of people unite to share a spiritual experience, they have the potential to create a wonderful warm bubble of amplified light and love. If they are in unity and their intention is to "boost their signal" spiritually, they will amplify that signal and send it out to God and open a very powerful and ecstatic spiritual connection. This can take place anywhere; in a church, a mosque, a temple or a metaphysical retreat in the mountains. There is no energy easier to amplify than the spiritual one because God is just waiting for us to make the effort. So, we have plenty of Spirit help along the way ready to help boost the signal. When you are in any kind of spiritual gathering and feel this amplified frequency, we call this "feeling the spirit".
On the other hand people can get so caught up in spiritual frenzy that they cease to let logic be their watchman and begin to believe that their "way" is the only way. Because "the spirit" is in their midst, they may not mentally allow that people from other spiritual practices are doing exactly the same thing.
Wouldn't it be something if all of these groups took the walls down off their bubbles and merged with the other bubbles?
Earth would become one great big huge radio station tuned into God.
As ordained ministers, David and I acknowledge all spiritual paths and seek to inspire Unity of Faith in others and, we believe, slowly but surely, we are seeing this happen all over the world.
In my life I have been honored to visit various groups from Buddhist to Christian and more engaged in worship. At times, I have been in the company of others who were not of the same faith as the group being visited. It has been interesting to note on those occasions when I have allowed myself to tune in, become one with, and feel the "spirit" amplified by the worshippers that I have noticed at least one person in the "visiting" group say something like "I just don't feel the spirit here". They will inevitably proclaim that the worshippers must not be following the true path to God. This always saddens me, because it was apparent that they had already pre-determined that they weren't going to "feel anything". They had lost an opportunity to learn from others and to "plug in" to a wonderfully amplified spiritual experience! By going in with a closed mind, they already closed the door to opportunity.
Is the spirit not there simply because you do not feel it? Nonsense.
Pride has a funny way of getting in the way of our progress as spirits. Spirit is always there. We just do not allow ourselves to plug in to it as often as we think we can. In fact, with some practice and diligence, we never have to be UNPLUGGED at all! After all, The Spirit of God never abandons us. It is always there, abundant, free-flowing and in everything. No, we are the ones that choose to unplug from it. When I hear people whining that "God has abandoned me", I have only one thing to say: GO FIND HIM!!!

The Anatomy of a Curse
(An excerpt from the upcoming book De-mystifying Mysticism )
An issue that comes up time and time again for us with clients is the question:
"Am I cursed?"
Are curses real???
The answer has to be YES and NO.
Well, the truth is, if you have something in your field that vibrates with any negative energy coming into your field, whether it is angry thoughts or intentional malicious thought-forms directed at you from someone you are emotionally connected to, you bet, it will stick to you, if you let it.
That "curse" you are holding on to might even be as simple as the fear of being "cursed", or the fear of other people "sucking your energy". As you feed the fear, you create the fear, thus inviting more fear...and more "curses".
First of all let's define CURSE:
A curse is:
a. An appeal or prayer for evil or misfortune to befall someone or something. (consciously or subconsciously)
b. The evil or misfortune that comes in or as if in response to such an appeal
c. A source or cause of evil; a scourge
If you stop and think about it, a curse can either be an elaborate ritual set of intentions put into motion to inflict negative on a person or simply a subconscious or conscious appeal of negative action to befall someone.
For instance you may have jealousy towards a friend who has started a venture of some kind. If you have not conquered your vibration of jealousy, turning it into a sincere wish for your friend to succeed, the thought-form of jealousy and the subconscious desire for this person to fail will continue to grow within you. Your friend may have moved past this emotion within himself so your negative wishes will bounce right off of him and come right back to you. In the meantime you are scratching your head and wondering why all of your business ventures seem to be wrought with misfortune and failure.
Such is the power of thought.
Can I Be "Cursed"?
Visualize the traditional Evil Hollywood Sorcerer brewing up some elaborate curse complete with a rat's head, eye of newt and deadly nightshade for some unsuspecting innocent victim.
This imaginary sorcerer is definitely creating an intense vibrational storm of ill-intent. As he releases this "curse" towards the intended victim what happens?
Well, one of two things.
How Strong Is The Emotional Connection?
1. If the person has some real emotional connection to our imaginary sorcerer. Or, if this sorcerer is really, really good at what he does and the "innocent victim" is not so innocent because he is holding on to some of the same issues that he is being "cursed" with, there will be something to stick to and magnify in his energy field.
2. If the person sending the "curse" is our imaginary victim's cousin's friend that met him briefly one afternoon in passing and was overcome with jealousy because our victim was more handsome than he was and decided to pay our Evil Sorcerer a huge sum of cash to curse our unsuspecting but overly handsome victim, probably nothing will happen. Our handsome but otherwise innocent victim will brush off the incoming "curse" like a bug landing on his shoulder and continue on his merry way.
How strong the emotional connection is between the two people involved? Is this negative energy coming from some random stranger from afar that has no emotional tie to you? Is this just a jealous person who knows you only by reputation and you have no connection to? Chances are what this person sends out will fizzle out before it even gets to the door, gather strength and boomerang right back to the sender.
What about the case of negative energy, thought-forms or curses coming to you from a close friend or relative. Can these affect you from a distance? You bet, if you want them to. If you are wrapped up in a control drama, fight or negative emotionally charged or dysfunctional relationship with a particular person these things will absolutely affect you until you choose to sever the connection and re-establish it, if need be, in a positive way. You must deal with and remove these from your field with love and forgiveness until the cycle has been stopped. Otherwise you will just continue playing emotional boomerang.
Again, realize that anything can be a "curse". You don't have to be trained at Hogwarts in The Dark Arts. Just wishing someone ill will with emotion is a curse. Harboring anger, resentment, hatred, bitterness or unforgiveness towards someone is a form of a curse. You are constantly sending that vibration out to that person. If they have not been working on releasing these same issues within themselves, they will feel it in some way and may be affected. These reactions can range anywhere from a passing thought or emotion or to an actual physical reaction of some sort. Sending negativity in any form to others, deserving or not, will come back to you in some way. If you are carrying around any of that same vibration yourself, and chances are if you are intentionally sending out negativity, you probably are, its going to come right back and bite you in the butt. It doubles back creating an endless loop of negativity until you decide to reverse the lower vibrational field that you have created for yourself. Be responsible with thought. Because thought IS action in the vibrational world. Focused thought many times BECOMES action without us ever having to do anything. We just may not perceive it until we see the results of the action.
Release the person you have issues with to the Divine Healing of the Universe and realize that they have their own lessons to learn. This applies to people living with you now and to those that have passed on. The vibrational exchange doesn't end just because a person has passed over.
Releasing Past Vibrations
We once had a client who also has medium-ship abilities that seemed to have a repeating theme of females, both spirits and physical beings continually coming to her with issues of repression. It was as if they recognized the vibration of repression that she was holding on to and it served as a beacon both in the spirit and physical worlds.
She couldn't understand why she kept having these "visitations" and in a way felt as though she was "cursed" by these phenomena.
During one particular session we felt a huge gaping wound in her energy field in the Sacral Chakra area. It felt as though it had been stuffed with a large crumpled white bandage. I assisted her in pulling this bandage out and in healing the wound with a beautiful white light. She connected more viscerally to her personal sense of power as she healed herself and accessed the repression that was coming to the surface for release.
Almost immediately she experienced the face of a screaming woman. We both felt the soul or energy signature of an Amish woman who had spent her life serving others in a very unbalanced, subservient way. This woman had repressed her own needs to the point that she died not ever knowing what her own needs were. Our client had felt this woman hanging around her for some time and it was one of the reasons she had come to see us. As our client connected to this woman and helped with her similar healing and soul-release it helped to powerfully solidify the healing for our client.
As she continues to resolve these issues, these drop-ins both from living and spirit persons have slowed down to the point of being a complete non-issue. She is no longer a beacon sending out a vibration of repression for other "repression vibrations" to tune into.*
*Sometimes you continue to have a range of people come to you for help long after you have completed your healing in any given area. In these cases they are usually people or energies seeking you out because they are sincerely ready for healing and are asking for help from someone who has walked the path with that issue. In these cases the intent is coming from a different angle. It can be a very subtle difference but don't confuse the Art of Healing Others with The Personal Path of Healing. No matter what the case, practice compassion.
Have Diligence When Doing Your Internal Work
Realize that if you are here on this planet you have work to do.
That means looking at your stuff, sometimes from more angles than you care to.
Recognize that any Healing Practicioner, Shaman, Priest or otherwise that plays into your fear of being "cursed" and charges you an enormous fee to remove the curse is probably selling you swamp water. If the Healer is helping you discover your truth and reasons for holding on to negative that keeps attracting the same negative into your life, then you are on the right track. Any Healer that keeps putting band-aids on the wound, telling you what you want to hear or keeps moving energy around without helping you to discover the root emotional causes may have good intentions but may not be what you need if you are ready to move into deeper layers of your subconscious for healing. Healing is not always a comfortable process. It requires us to look at ourselves with an increasingly more powerful lens. It requires us to look at all the rotten, despicable and shameful things we ourselves have inflicted on others and ourselves and it requires us to forgive and love ourselves for the lessons learned. It requires us to remove ourselves from any sort of "victim mentality", including that of being "cursed", having bad luck, or any other sort of self-pity. It requires us to develop a deep and abiding love for ourselves that will in time radiate to others in an always more powerful and vibrant healing way.
So if you are thinking of wishing "ill will" to anyone. Try this one on for size:
"May you receive all that you deserve."
If you are willing to take responsibility for the personal actions in your life,
go ahead and send this one out.
But buyer beware, you will receive all that you deserve in return.
Be ready to deal with ALL that you deserve coming back to you: good and bad.
"Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." - Galatians VI
So exercise your power of thought with care. It's kind of hard if not completely impossible to keep track of everything that you have ever "sown", so when you start "reaping" crops that you didn't think you planted, better do some self-assessment. Your best bet is to keep it on the positive and go forward sowing positive seeds and desires!
Just remember the most powerful sorcerer or the most hateful enemy you can possibly conjure in your mind right now can never get into your energy for long if you are working on your own issues of fear-releasing, victim mentality release and self-love and respect. Operate from love, courage, non-fear and an increasing polarity of positive energy and forgiveness. This alone provides you with the most rock solid protection from "curses" you can ever have, not to mention, you will like yourself better this way!
